Venkat Parakala

Venkat Parakala is an experienced professional currently serving as Executive Director of Foundational Data & Analytics at Merck since May 2021. In this role, Venkat leads the development of products and services to facilitate data movement, transformation, governance, and security within the enterprise. Venkat's career at Merck & Co spans from November 2000 to November 2016, during which several director-level positions were held, including Manufacturing Analytics IT and Supply Chain Analytics IT, focusing on enhancing information visibility and insights to support strategic objectives. Venkat also contributed to CRM strategy and enterprise architecture as well as managed IT solutions delivery for commercial operations. Prior experience includes senior consulting roles at Mastech and TCS.
