Steven Baker

Steven Baker is an experienced energy trader currently serving at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. since February 2022. Previously, Steven held the position of Executive Director at Goldman Sachs from October 2017 to February 2022, and at Castleton Commodities International from November 2015 to October 2017. Steven spent nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley, also as Executive Director, from July 2006 to October 2015, focusing on oil derivatives and specializing in middle distillate products. Steven holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
