Umar Farooq has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and operations. Umar started their career at Cloudways in 2021 as a Linux System Engineer, where they gained valuable experience in managing and maintaining Linux systems. In 2022, Umar joined VULTIK as a DevOps Support Engineer, where they provided support and assistance for DevOps operations. Umar then moved on to Technonies PVT Ltd in the same year, taking on the role of DevOps Engineer and contributing to various projects until 2023. Umar then joined AIG as a DevOps Engineer, where they worked until July 2023. Currently, Umar is working at Mercurial Minds as a NOC Engineer, specializing in monitoring and operations on the Jazz OTT platform Tamasha. With their diverse skillset and experience, Umar has a strong foundation in both engineering and operations roles.
Umar Farooq began their education in 2016 at Punjab Group Of Colleges Shujabad Campus, where they pursued a degree in FSC with a focus on Pre-Engineering. Umar completed this degree in 2018. Following this, from 2018 to 2022, Umar attended Bahauddin Zakariya University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in IT.
