Jena McWhirter

Jena McWhirter is a Senior Product Designer at Mercury, focusing on treasury and cards activation since April 2023. In addition to this role, Jena has been a Small Business Owner at Motley Mountain since February 2018, where handmade goods are sold in five Seattle boutiques, earning several accolades on Etsy. Previous experience includes serving as Product Designer II at Spotify, where Jena worked on audiobooks and direct sales, and at Hulu, focusing on home and content discovery across TV platforms. Jena also contributed to academic projects as a Design Researcher at the University of Washington, where research on the relationship between people, homes, and IoT devices was conducted, and served as a Teaching Assistant in Design and HCI courses. Jena holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Design and Visual Communications from Highline College and a degree from the University of Washington.
