Director, Caribbean Resilience Initiative at Mercy Corps

Allison Dworschak is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in humanitarian response and program management. Currently serving as the Director for the Caribbean Resilience Initiative at Mercy Corps since January 2020, Allison oversees a $6 million grant portfolio and leads efforts in emergency response, climate adaptation, and program implementation across various sectors. Previous roles at Mercy Corps included Deputy Director and Team Lead for the same initiative, as well as positions focused on program quality, monitoring, and evaluation. Allison has also worked as a humanitarian response and capacity building advisor, consulting on digital cash transfers and governance in emergencies. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and History from the University of Oregon and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland.
