Jared Vazquez

Jared Vazquez, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Mercy Housing, a position held since March 2024. With extensive experience as a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant since 2017, Jared has advised various organizations including the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Additionally, Jared is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Iliff School of Theology, where teachings focus on social analysis related to systemic inequalities. Previous roles include serving as Associate Director of International Diversity and Inclusion at the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, and Office Manager at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. from the University of Denver, a Master’s from Philips Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s from Oral Roberts University.
