Arief Savuwan

Arief Savuwan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in asset management, reliability engineering, and operational improvement within the mining and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager Fixed Plant and System at PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk since March 2020, Arief focuses on managing asset management and implementing maintenance work management systems. Previously, Arief held various leadership positions at Vale, including Senior Manager Plant Reliability and Planning, where the plant asset management process was led to enhance reliability. Arief's career also includes roles such as Continuous Improvement Manager and Risk Specialist, demonstrating expertise in operational efficiency and risk management. Arief's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada and a Master’s Degree in Management from Universitas Hasanuddin.
