He is an experienced geologist and mining executive, with more than 25 years of experience gained from a variety of roles in operational mines, consulting, mining finance and corporate management. He has significant operational experience leading, developing and coaching technical teams in both open cut and underground mines in multiple countries. His commodity experience includes gold, copper, uranium, poly-metallic base metals and IOGC deposits, as well as metallurgical and thermal coal.
He also has financial experience having worked as Associate Director with Macquarie Bank, involved in technical due diligence, deal structuring and execution of mining finance. Zach is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
