Matthew Lam

Matthew Lam, PMP has over 14 years of work experience in various roles.

Starting in 2004, they worked as a Regional Coordinator at PPS PARKING & TRANSPORTATION, INC. for two and a half years.

In 2007, Matthew joined Chapman University as a Field Market Research Intern for five months.

In the same year, they began their career at MeridianLink as a Software Deployment Consultant. Over the course of eight years, they successfully deployed clients on new accounts opening and loan origination platforms, leading over 90 implementations for credit unions and banks with combined assets of $95 Billion. Matthew also conducted onsite client analysis and educational seminars for client training purposes.

From 2015 to 2016, Matthew served as a Software Pre-Deployment Lead at MeridianLink, where they led a team responsible for onboarding new clients and building their sites. Matthew defined new roles and career matrixes, created a playbook to standardize procedures, implemented new tools, and reduced client queue time by 86%.

Matthew then took on the role of Senior Product Owner at MeridianLink in 2016. In this position, they maximized the value of the product by identifying and prioritizing features for the development teams. Matthew monitored and evaluated the needs and strategic objectives of clients, as well as established clear communication and coordination with both external stakeholders and internal teams.

Matthew Lam, PMP obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Chapman University from 2004 to 2007. During the same period, they also studied Aerospace Studies at the University of Southern California. Matthew Lam, PMP has additional certifications, including PSPO I from Scrum.org obtained in March 2017 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from The Project Management Institute (PMI) obtained in December 2016.
