Carling FitzSimmons is a distinguished artistic director and choral conductor with extensive experience in vocal music. As the founder and Artistic Director of La Caccina since August 2011, Carling champions diverse repertoire for women's voices. Currently serving as the Artistic Director of Spirito! Singers and as Choral Conductor and Voice Faculty at the Merit School of Music, Carling prepares singers for various performances. Additionally, Carling has held roles including Program Manager for Piano, Early Childhood, and General Music at Bella Voce, and has conducted professional ensembles such as The William Ferris Chorale and Northwest Choral Society. Educational background includes a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and English from Kenyon College.
