Thomas Haakma has extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology, currently serving as the Director of Sales for Cybersecurity at Merito since December 2016. Previously, Thomas held roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an Application Security Specialist for the Western Region and was involved in field operations at Netformx. Early career highlights include managing technology initiatives at Gompers Preparatory Academy and creating district communications for the San Diego Unified School District. Additionally, Thomas has legal experience as a Litigation Support Specialist for the United States Attorney's Office. Education includes studies in Computer Information Systems at San Diego State University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from San Diego Mesa College.
