Jason Nip has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Jason worked as the Director of Product Development and Design at Merrithew™, where they evaluated and recommended changes to the internal Product Development process. Jason also oversaw the development of new retail products in collaboration with other teams.
Prior to that, Jason worked as an Instructor at Toronto Niten Kai, teaching Niten Ichi Ryu. Jason trained in various martial arts disciplines and traveled to Japan to further their training.
Jason also owned their own design business called Jason Nip Product Design, where they provided design solutions for clients, from ideation to prototyping. Jason worked as a freelance and contract designer.

Jason Nip's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Cawthra Park SS for visual arts. Jason completed their studies there in 1994. In 1995, they attended Sheridan College for animation, finishing their program in 1996. From 1999 to 2002, Jason pursued a Bachelor of Applied Technology degree in Industrial Design at Humber College.
