Kristen Gill, CMP has extensive experience in event marketing and strategic partnerships. Kristen has worked as the Director of Event Marketing & Strategic Partnerships at Merrithew™ - Leaders in Mindful Movement™ since June 2014. In this role, they manage and produces international events, handles sponsorships and partnerships, and conducts new business research.
Prior to their current position, Kristen worked as the Sr. Manager of Event Marketing & Sponsorship at Merrithew™ from October 2006 to June 2014. Kristen successfully executed the Merrithew Mindful Movement World Tour in 2013, which covered 11 cities and trained health and fitness professionals worldwide. Kristen also developed and executed strategic event marketing plans to support corporate objectives.
Before joining Merrithew™, Kristen was an Account Manager at ClubCom, Inc. in 2005. Kristen also served as the Meetings and Trade Show Manager at IHRSA from 1998 to 2004, where they managed the development of international conferences and coordinated educational conference programs.
Kristen has experience as an Executive Director at MACMA, a regional trade association, and as a Regional Account Manager at Nautilus. Kristen started their career at IHRSA as an Accounts Receivable Manager before transitioning to Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Manager Trainee.
Kristen Gill, CMP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Fitness and Leisure Studies, which they attained from Salem State University. In addition to their degree, Kristen has obtained several certifications. Kristen received their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in November 2014. Kristen also holds the Cvent Virtual Event Certification from Cvent, which they obtained in January 2021. Moreover, they obtained a certificate in Introduction to Marketing from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2015, as well as the Cvent - Hybrid Events Certificate from Cvent in November 2020.
