Femke Feenstra

Femke Feenstra is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in the field of biotechnology and vaccine development. Currently serving as a Scientist at Merus N.V. since November 2019, Femke specializes in antibody production, analysis, and engineering. Prior to this role, Femke worked as an R&D Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim and Merial, focusing on foot-and-mouth disease vaccine development from January 2017 to November 2019. Femke's academic background includes a PhD candidacy at Wageningen Bioveterinary Research, where research centered on a novel bluetongue vaccine platform, as well as several internships related to virology and regenerative medicine. Femke holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
