Peter Lowe

Peter Lowe has a diverse work experience in the field of antibody engineering and biologics generation. Peter is currently the Director of Antibody Engineering at Merus N.V. Prior to this, Peter has worked at Pierre Fabre, where they held various roles such as Director of Biologics Generation & Optimisation, Director of mAb Optimisation, and Project Leader. At Pierre Fabre, Peter was responsible for managing teams and projects related to antibody discovery, optimization, and therapeutic development. Before joining Pierre Fabre, Peter worked at Haptogen as a Senior Scientist, where they focused on the generation and screening of antibody libraries. Peter also has experience as a Research Associate at the University of Aberdeen, where they worked on molecular biology techniques for the evaluation of genetic factors related to inflammatory conditions. Overall, Peter Lowe has extensive expertise in antibody engineering and biologics generation, with a strong background in managing multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with external partners.

Peter Lowe completed their education with a BSc. (Hons) in Biology/Biological Sciences from Coventry University from 1992 to 1996. Peter then pursued an MSc in Biotechnology at Teesside University from 1996 to 1997. Peter further obtained a PhD. in Genetics from the University of Aberdeen from 1997 to 2000.
