Robert Doornbos

Robert Doornbos is an experienced professional in biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing, currently serving as the VP of Manufacturing and Non-Clinical Development at Merus N.V. since September 2013. In this role, Robert leads the CMC/CMC-RA/Supply Chain Department, overseeing the transition of product candidates from research to development and ultimately to product licensure. Prior to this position, Robert held various leadership roles at ProtAffin Biotechnologie AG from October 2009 to August 2013, where responsibilities included directing product development for innovative biopharmaceutical compounds. Robert also contributed to the field of bioanalysis at TNO Quality of Life as a Preclinical Development Manager and Project Manager, and conducted research at Radboud University and Utrecht University, culminating in a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology. Robert's educational background includes a Master's degree in Medical Biology from Utrecht University.
