Vagif R. Aliyev has a strong background in data and applied science, with experience working for Mesmerise as a Data & Applied Scientist II, Data & Applied Scientist I, and Junior Data Scientist. Vagif R. has also worked as a Software Developer for 3RDi, where they focused on full stack development using Go, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, CosmosDB, Azure, and Docker. Vagif has additional experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, where they assisted teaching staff and organized hackathons. Vagif R. also has interned at AVANDSIS GROUP and has worked as a Team Leader for their own start-up, "LocalsAround," at the MIT Global Startup Workshop. In previous roles, Vagif has served as a Laboratory Assistant for Makyol İnşaat Sanayi Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş., conducting various experiments and tests, and as a Project Manager for Constructionarium Ltd, overseeing the construction of the Kingsgate Footbridge.
Vagif R. Aliyev pursued their education in a chronological order. Starting in 2013, they attended d'Overbroeck's College Oxford, where they completed their A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science in 2015. Following this, they enrolled at Heriot-Watt University from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering. Most recently, they attended Imperial College London in 2019 and 2020, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Computational Science and Engineering.
