Matt Kreiser

Matt Kreiser is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, journalism, and finance. Currently serving as Research Manager at Messari since July 2022, Matt conducts in-depth analysis on cryptocurrency assets and protocols, having previously held positions as Senior Research Analyst and Crypto Research Analyst at the same company. Freelance work as a journalist complements a background that includes an Investigative Internship at The Sacramento Bee and roles with USC Annenberg Media. Early career experiences include financial analysis, project development, and officiating over 100 water polo games. Matt’s academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Cum Laude, from California Polytechnic State University.
