Shelby Koontz is a marketing support specialist at Messenger since May 2023, with a diverse background in roles focused on marketing, coordination, and community support. Prior to this, Shelby served as the Care Ministry Coordinator at Pathway Community Church, overseeing communication for ministry volunteer teams and coordinating volunteer appreciation events, as well as providing support to congregants in times of need. Experience includes positions as a member consultant at Orangetheory Fitness, where Shelby marketed memberships and events, and a part-time intern at Neighborhood Rescue of America, gaining knowledge in non-profit fundraising. Shelby also held a marketing internship with Indiana University Athletics, promoting sporting events, and has previous experience working as a lifeguard and coach in youth programs. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
