Dean Tolson has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dean began their career in 1995 as an Assembly Technician at Mechanical Systems Inc, followed by a position as an Assembly Technician at Building Automation Products Inc in 1996. From 1997 to 2000, they worked as an Electronic Technician at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. In 1991, Dean joined the United States Air Force as an Avionics Craftsman, where they gained experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining F-15 & F-16 aircraft systems. Dean also worked with electronic testing equipment. In 2000, Dean joined Bell and Howell as a Field Service Engineer, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mailing, inserting/sorting, and imaging systems. Dean also collaborated with software engineers to resolve software and equipment interface issues. In 2012, Dean joined Messer Cutting Systems Inc as a Product Qualification Specialist.

Dean Tolson completed a Craftsman Certification in Avionics at the United States Air Force from 1992 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Technology from Herzing University, graduating in 2000.
