Meta House
Shanta Hobbs is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at Meta House since January 2020, where Shanta provides compassionate care through individual and group counseling. Prior experience includes roles as a Residential Program Manager and Rehabilitation Specialist at Phoenix Care Systems/Bell Therapy, managing group home programming and supporting clients in developing essential living skills. Shanta has also worked as a Mental Health Therapist at both Phoenix Care Systems and AMRI Counseling Services, offering intake interviews and individual counseling to diverse populations. Early career roles include clerical support at the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Office and Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division, as well as document management at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. Shanta holds a Master’s Degree in Community Health Services from Concordia University-Wisconsin and has a strong educational background in health administration and medical assistance.
