Aayush Prakash is an Engineering Manager at Meta since September 2021, leading synthetic data research and development within Reality Labs. Prior to this role, Aayush served as Head of Machine Learning at AI.Reverie and was a Senior Research Scientist at NVIDIA from September 2015 to April 2021, focusing on domain transfer for vision models. Aayush began their career at IBM Canada as a Staff Software Developer, where leadership in the development of implicit Java JIT acceleration using SIMD and GPUs was key. Aayush also gained experience as a Visiting Research Fellow at Graz University of Technology, contributing to object categorization and shape matching research. Aayush holds a B. Tech. (Hons.) in Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a MASc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
