Abdelrahman (Ogail) Elogeel is a seasoned software engineer currently leading the Wearables GenAI team at Meta, focusing on the MetaAI assistant for RayBan Meta. Previously, Elogeel served as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Cruise, overseeing the perception Origin and Future Sensing group, and as a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer managing the 3D object detection group. Prior experience includes leading perception and machine learning initiatives at Marble, teaching statistical machine learning and neural networks at Harvard Extension School, and holding key positions in machine learning at Amazon Robotics, where Elogeel established and directed a team addressing various perception challenges. Earlier roles at Microsoft involved enhancing autonomous agents for Real-Time Strategy games and developing platforms for the .NET Framework, while Elogeel began a career as a C++ Developer at DefendX Software.
