Abhijit Sharang is a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta since April 2020, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Uber, focusing on machine learning applications for rider pricing and sensor data analysis for trip inferences. Previously, Abhijit worked at Pinterest, contributing to deep learning models for ad click-through rate optimization and improving text generation algorithms for search engine traffic. Abhijit’s background includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University, where contributions were made to open-source software for network analysis and convex optimization. Early career experience includes positions as an Algorithmic Data Scientist at Two Roads Tech and a research intern at Adobe. Abhijit holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
