Govind Kabra is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and machine learning. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Meta since November 2020, Govind previously held the role of Head of Engineering for the Perception Platform at Aurora, where the focus was on advancing self-driving technology. Prior to that, Govind was a Senior Engineering Manager at Uber, contributing to the development of efficient mapping solutions, and served as Engineering Lead at Foursquare, where significant advancements in geospatial datasets were made. Govind co-founded and acted as CTO of Cazoodle, driving growth in consumer applications, and completed a summer internship at Microsoft focused on database security. Govind holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
