Hailey Cook is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in product design and user experience. Currently serving as Director of Product Design at Meta since August 2019, Hailey focuses on privacy and safety for Messenger and Instagram Direct. Previously, at Facebook, Hailey contributed to Messenger Design Systems and Messenger Integrity as a Product Designer. Hailey's earlier roles included UX Designer and Visual UX Design Contractor at athenahealth, where impactful work on the Epocrates medical app was completed. Hailey's career began with internships at Apple and various design firms, accumulating a strong foundation in visual and interaction design. Hailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication Design from the University of Cincinnati and participated in a prestigious Interaction Design Workshop at Cooper.
