Jean Boufarhat is an accomplished executive in silicon engineering with extensive experience leading product development across major technology companies. Currently serving as VP and Head of Silicon at Meta's Reality Labs, Jean previously held positions as Corporate Vice President of Silicon Engineering at Microsoft and Senior Vice President of Silicon Engineering at Synaptics, where significant achievements included building a market-leading product line and advancing OLED technologies. Earlier roles at Altera and AMD focused on FPGA product development and memory interface innovations, showcasing a strong track record in driving efficiency, scale, and integration post-acquisition. Jean’s career began at LSI, where foundational leadership roles in IP solutions were established. Jean holds both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
