Mahesh Srinivasan is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in both technical and managerial roles. Currently serving as the Vice President of Data Science at Meta since August 2022, Mahesh oversees a team focused on various key areas within the Facebook App, including News Feed, Video Products, and Data Science support for a central Machine Learning team. Prior to this role, Mahesh held multiple leadership positions at Facebook from September 2012 to September 2022, including Director of Data Science for News Feed & Stories and a focus on integrity. Mahesh's career began in hardware engineering, with notable roles at Broadcom, Netlogic Microsystems, and Fulcrum Microsystems, complemented by advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
