Ning Li currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Meta AI since November 2023. Previously, Ning Li co-founded Fireworks AI and served as a board member from October 2022 to August 2023. Prior to that, from June 2009 to October 2022, Ning Li held various leadership roles at Facebook, including Vice President of Engineering and Product Group Lead for the Augmented Reality Input & Interaction product group, and Vice President of Engineering for the core Ads Product Group, overseeing a large team of engineers and product managers. Additionally, Ning Li's earlier experience includes roles as Engineering Director, Engineering Manager, and Software Engineer at Facebook, and a Software Engineer position at IBM Almaden Research Center from 2001 to 2009. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
