Pushkar Tripathi is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Meta since 2017, Pushkar previously held the position of Engineering Manager for Search Ads at Pinterest, where responsibilities included leading backend teams for query rewriting and engagement modeling. Pushkar co-founded RoughEpsilon Inc, which developed an innovative android application utilizing optical character recognition for product searches. Prior work experience includes roles at Google, where Pushkar focused on ads quality and auction components, as well as multiple internships at Google Research and Microsoft Research, contributing to advancements in algorithm efficiency and software fault detection. Pushkar holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
