Rui Miao is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in high-performance networking, currently working at Meta since July 2023. Prior to this role, Rui spent five years at Alibaba Group as a staff engineer, contributing to the research and development of Alibaba Cloud's advanced networking solutions. Rui's career began with internships at prominent companies such as Intel Corporation and Microsoft, where foundational research skills were developed. Rui holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and has studied as a visiting scholar at Yale University. Additionally, Rui earned a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
