Ruizhi Zou is a Senior Software Engineer at Waymo, contributing to the simulation infrastructure team since June 2020, focusing on a large-scale simulation platform. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Google from May 2018 to June 2020, where Ruizhi developed a next-generation data piping system within the Display Ads Infra team. Ruizhi has also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2012 to May 2018 and completed a software engineering internship at Google in the summer of 2016. Ruizhi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil and Coastal Engineering and a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, both from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
