Seiji Yamamoto is an accomplished research scientist and engineering manager with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and data science. At Meta, Seiji held the position of Research Scientist Manager in the AGI Foundations team, focusing on enhancing the performance of Llamas through innovative architectural and post-training techniques. Previously, Seiji contributed to the CoreAI team in Reality Labs, maintaining applied deep learning frameworks for computer vision. Seiji also served as Director of Data Science and Engineering at Salesforce, leading efforts in machine learning for the Einstein Platform, and worked as a Data Science Manager at Facebook, addressing challenges in News Feed and Stories.
