Taha Rafiq serves as a Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at Meta since March 2022, focusing on the Metrics Computation team and overseeing infrastructure and products to protect external metrics from regressions. Previously, Taha worked at Google from June 2015 to February 2022, where leadership in the design and development of an internal project management platform led to improved product launch processes and business intelligence for the Search organization. Taha's career also includes roles at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, where efforts were made to enhance inventory quality in warehouses, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, developing scalability policies for database systems. Early experience includes game development at PiLabs for an iPhone game. Taha holds an M.Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
