Tashrique Ahmed is currently an Incoming Software Engineering Intern at Meta, set to start in Summer 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer Intern at PowWater and during brief internships at The Legal Accountability Project and The Kive Company. Tashrique held various positions at Williams College, such as Chair of Building and Strategy for the Robotics Club, Makerspace Student Mentor for Robotics and Web Development, and Soft Robotics/Virtual Reality Research Intern, contributing to a project under Professor James Bern. Tashrique's tech experience also includes serving as a Tech Intern and ESG Coordinator at Generation Conscious. Tashrique is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, while also working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics at Williams College. Early education was completed at Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College, graduating with a focus on science.
