Brandon Justice

Brandon Justice is a Preclinical Senior Research Associate at Metagenomi since June 2021, focusing on developing curative gene therapies utilizing novel CRISPR-associated editing systems and assisting in creating a competitive landscape for gene therapy indications. Previously, Brandon worked at Caribou Biosciences as a Molecular Engineering Research Associate II from June 2018 to June 2021, engaging in molecular cloning, PCR, and NextGen Sequencing, among other tasks. Prior to that, Brandon served as a Research Associate at Ventana Medical Systems, conducting laboratory experiments and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Brandon's early research experience includes a position as a Research Assistant in Dr. Jensen's lab at the University of California Department of Immunology, concentrating on the immunology of Toxoplasma gondii. Brandon holds a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Merced.
