Caitlin Ethridge

Caitlin E. is an experienced associate scientist currently employed at Metagenomi since April 2022, previously holding the title of senior research associate. Prior to Metagenomi, Caitlin worked as a research associate II at Caribou Biosciences from May 2021 to May 2022, focusing on DNA sequencing and automation in oncology therapeutics. Caitlin's career also includes serving as the automation team lead at Boost Biomes, where responsibilities included negotiation for capital equipment and method development for high throughput microbial work. Earlier experiences at Arcadia Biosciences involved identifying genes for hemp breeding and supporting accelerated breeding programs in wheat and soy. Caitlin began a professional journey in customer service at Woodstock's Pizza and gained laboratory experience as an assistant in the UC Davis Department of Plant Pathology. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2020.
