Edward Tuan

Edward Tuan currently serves as the Associate Director of Automation at Metagenomi since August 2021, previously holding the role of Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes positions as Scientist 2 at Strateos, where Edward was the scientific lead for project implementation, and Scientist 1 to Scientist 2 at Plexxikon Inc., focusing on assay development and screening for novel drug discovery. Edward’s early career involved postdoctoral research at Astraea Therapeutics, where a pharmacology laboratory was established, and extensive research during a Ph.D. program at Georgetown University in pharmacology. Edward’s educational background includes a Ph.D. from Georgetown University and a BS in chemistry from Haverford College.
