Phillip Arcangel

Phillip Arcangel is a seasoned professional in laboratory operations and management with extensive experience in the biomedical and diagnostics fields. Currently serving as Sr Lab Operations Manager at Metagenomi since April 2021, Phillip has previously held positions as Lab Manager at Pactpharma and Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. Additional roles at Novartis include Scientist I and Chemist, focusing on infectious diseases and manufacturing sciences. Phillip’s career journey began at Chiron Corporation, where expertise in GMP manufacturing and laboratory automation was developed. Educationally, Phillip holds a B.A. in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
