Chun-Wei Chen is a Process Development Engineer at Meta Materials Inc. (META®) since April 2022, specializing in the development and optimization of nanofabrication processes for advanced optical products. Previously, Chun-Wei served as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington from September 2016 to March 2021, focusing on computational studies and experimental verification of topological modes in mechanical systems and contributing to multiple research projects under the National Science Foundation. Chun-Wei also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Mechanics of Composites and Mechanics of Solids. Earlier experience includes an Equipment Engineer role at TSMC from 2014 to 2015, where responsibilities involved maintenance and installation of thin film tools in a clean room. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington, a Master's degree in Applied Mechanics from National Taiwan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from National Cheng Kung University.
