Scott Bourne

Scott Bourne is an accomplished professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as Compositing and A.I. Lead at Metaphysic.ai since January 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Industrial Light & Magic as a Senior Compositor from September 2015 to February 2023, contributing to major projects such as "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," and "Eternals." Bourne has also worked at prominent companies including Cinesite, Double Negative, and Framestore, holding various compositor roles and leading digital paint and roto teams. In addition to practical work, Bourne has imparted knowledge as a Visiting Lecturer at Arts University College at Bournemouth. Educational qualifications include a BA in Film and Digital Media Production from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
