Laura Powell

Laura Powell has a diverse work experience that spans from 2010 to 2022. In 2010, they interned at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where they worked on an experimental diversionary program. In 2012, they joined the Graduate School of Public Administration at Villanova University as a Program Assistant. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Wistia, starting as an Office Manager and then becoming a Project Manager for Business Operations. In 2016, they moved to Pixartprinting as a Marketing Manager, and then to Bocoup as an Operations Manager and Director of Operations. Since 2017, they have been running their own business, laurapowell.co, as a Specialized Generalist. In 2022, they will start roles as a Salesperson at Metaplane and a Planning Commissioner in Woodstock, VT.

Laura Powell obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Villanova University between 2006 and 2010. During this time, they also completed a semester abroad at DIS - Study Abroad in 2009. In 2010, they obtained their Master's Degree in Criminology, Sociology & Law from Villanova University. In 2016, they completed a Digital Marketing course at General Assembly. Additionally, they obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot in January 2016.
