Philip Hoffman

Philip Hoffman is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both software development and testing. Currently serving as Software Engineer II at METER Group since January 2018, Philip specializes in creating desktop and web applications aimed at enhancing testing and quality control, leveraging a strong background in manufacturing, electronics, and software to provide long-term solutions. Previously, Philip held several positions at SEL, including Associate Test Engineer where automated functional tests were developed using the Behavior Driven Development (BDD) process, and as Field Service Technician III, where automation software called blueTerm was created to improve operational efficiency. Earlier experience at Bose Corporation as Lead Test Technician involved developing a web-based test monitoring system to track manufacturing performance metrics. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University.
