Kelsey Tatum, MPH, CIC, CPH, is an experienced public health professional currently serving as an Infection Preventionist at Methodist Health System since February 2024. Previously, Kelsey worked as an Epidemiologist II at the Texas Department of State Health Services from November 2017 to February 2024, leading Vaccine Preventable Disease epidemiology for 37 counties and assisting local health departments. Kelsey has also served as the sole Epidemiologist for Wichita Falls - Wichita County Public Health District, focusing on infectious disease investigations. Additionally, Kelsey has held positions as an HIV Prevention Associate and Public Health Intern at WellFlorida Council, Inc., and gained initial experience as a Student Volunteer at Florida District 8 Medical Examiner's Office. Kelsey holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida.
