Barbara Herodes

Barbara Herodes has extensive experience in information technology and administration, currently serving as Manager of Administration Technology Deployment at Metra Commuter Rail since July 2003. In this role, Barbara manages key systems across Payroll, Transportation, Timekeeping, and Human Resources, overseeing the System Administration team. Previous positions at Metra include Acting Manager of Administration Technology Deployment, Sr. Programmer/Analyst 2, Sr. Programmer/Analyst, and Programmer/Analyst, with responsibilities spanning system analysis, implementation, and development. Prior to Metra, Barbara completed a summer internship as a Clerical Specialist in the IT department at Underwriters Laboratories, facilitating the rollout of PeopleSoft financials. Barbara holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University and graduated from Alan B. Shepard High School with honors.
