Jade Wright is an accomplished feature writer with extensive experience in journalism and editing. Currently serving as a Feature Writer for Metro since January 2018 and for Archant since August 2021, Jade specializes in topics including business, homes, food and drink, families, theatre, comedy, and music across various regions. As a freelance journalist, editor, and consultant since May 2017, Jade contributes regularly to regional and national publications, including Metro’s weekly Manchester and Liverpool pages, and authored "The Dirty Stop Outs' Guide to 1970's Liverpool." Additionally, Jade held the position of Editor at Good Taste Magazine UK and served as an Associate Lecturer in journalism at Liverpool John Moores University from October 2020 to September 2022. With a solid foundation in journalism from previous roles at Trinity Mirror plc and the BBC, Jade earned an MA in Newspaper Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire and a first-class BA in English from The University of Manchester.
