Josh Harwood has a diverse work experience in the field of economics. Josh most recently served as the Fiscal & Tax Policy Director at Metro since September 2021. Prior to that, they were with the City of Portland as a City Economist from September 2010 to September 2021. Josh also held the position of Senior Economist at the State of Oregon from May 2008 to August 2010. Before that, they worked as the Chief Economist at the State of Colorado Governors Office from January 2007 to May 2008 and as an Economist at the State of Colorado from July 2000 to January 2007.
Josh Harwood completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics at Willamette University from 1993 to 1997. Josh later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Colorado from 2005 to 2007.
