Krista Swan currently serves as the Manager of the Brand and Inclusive Design Team at Metro since March 2024. Prior to this role, Krista Swan spent 25 years at the Oregon Zoo, where responsibilities included serving as the Director of Marketing, overseeing integrated communications and brand management, as well as managing a high-functioning team. Previous positions at the Oregon Zoo included Marketing Program Manager and Senior Public Events and Marketing Specialist, focusing on high-profile public events such as Oregon Zoo Summer Concerts and ZooLights. Additionally, Krista Swan founded and operated the collaborative lifestyle blog Mostly Mommyhood from 2010 to 2016. Early career experiences include a tenure as a Senior Associate at Metropolitan Group and various volunteer roles, including board membership at the Portland Art Museum. Krista Swan holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Westmont College, earned between 1989 and 1993.
