Heiko Hilgers

Heiko Hilgers has extensive experience in IT and finance auditing, currently serving as Vice President of IT and Finance Audit at METRO AG since May 2009. In this role, Heiko oversees the IT and finance audit departments, profit recovery, and audit analytics. Previous positions at METRO AG include Director of Finance and IT Audit, as well as various interim leadership roles in finance and construction audits. Prior to joining METRO AG, Heiko held the position of Department Manager IT-Audit at Metro Cash & Carry International GmbH from May 2004 to April 2009. Heiko earned a Diplom in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the University of Düsseldorf between October 1993 and March 1998.
