Thomas Honnet

Thomas Honnet, LL.M., has extensive legal experience, currently serving as the Head of Commercial Law and IT Law at METRO AG since 2008. In this role, responsibilities have included overseeing Procurement Regulatory & Partnerships, Procurement Partnerships, and Group Sourcing Legal, in addition to serving as Senior Corporate Counsel and Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining METRO AG, Thomas Honnet worked as a Rechtsanwalt/Lawyer at Rechtsanwälte von Albert+ Richter from 2007 to 2008 and at Stank & Golland Rechtsanwälte from 2006 to 2007. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Düsseldorf Law School, studies at OLG Düsseldorf, and a degree from the University of Düsseldorf. Thomas Honnet's foundational education was completed at Freiherr vom Stein Gymnasium.
